The inaugural IPLC took place at the Banff Centre, Banff, Alberta, Canada April 20 – 23, 2013

The IPLC 2013 attracted 260+ leaders from many different fields:

The IS4LS wants to promote physical literacy on a global scale, highlighting international best practices featuring leading Canadian programs and dynamic people.

Our goal is for children to be active for life or to achieve sporting excellence through the development of physical literacy. We need to inform coaches, parents, educators and health practitioners on the benefits of physical literacy.
